Dyson Ball Toy Vacuum For Kids {Review}

Disclosure:  I received this product to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My 3 year old loves to do whatever I do and while I would love her to follow me around with a regular vacuum, it is a little too heavy for her.  I found though the next best thing with the Dyson Ball Toy Vacuum for kids.  It is a toy vacuum with real sounds and also real suction, yes I wrote real suction!  It is a direct replica of the yellow Dyson Ball model, which actually was the first vacuum we bought and still have.

The Dyson Ball Toy Vacuum is short (about 25 inches tall) and lightweight, perfect for little cleaners.  My daughter loves to vacuum like her mommy and it does actually pick up little pieces of dirt.  The pieces are very small and the suction is not super powerful or anything but does pick up a little bit to make it seem realistic to kids.  I don’t have high exceptions for suction but rather I use this as a toy and if it picks anything up its a bonus.  It is great for role playing and creative playing.  My boys who are 6 and 7 actually wanted their turns with the new vacuum.  It twists and turns like a regular Dyson and it even has colorful balls in the cyclone canister to simulate cause and effect of vacuuming.

Overall, this vacuum is a great toy for any child who wants to be like mom or dad who vacuums.  It would even be great for a child who might be afraid of the vacuum as it can be an example of how it works and sounds.  My daughter follows me around while I vacuum and loves how it looks just like mine.  I have seen other toy vacuums before but this one really is the one to buy if your thinking of one for your child.  I would say too that it is for younger kids due to the height of it being about two feet tall only.

BUY IT:  Check out the Dyson Ball Toy Vacuum on Amazon for $29.99 currently.

  • Now all they need to do is make a shark version! What a great way to get the kids involved though. Would be a great way to introduce kids into doing chores and helping out. Who knows, maybe in the future it won't seem like a chore ;)

  • My granddaughter would love this, especially since it has a little real suction. This is definitely the toy vacuum to buy if your child wants one.

  • This is a really cute toy to get my niece. She loves playing with all kinds of toys, and she would love this Dyson toy vacuum. Her birthday is coming up in April. I would love to get her one of these!!

  • That's a cute toy vacuum for kids. I like the design of it, and that it even picks up some dirt. I'd love to own an actual Dyson someday.
