So Purex has done it again and revolutionized laundry detergent.  Well actually more so dispensing laundry detergent.  Purex PowerShot Detergent is a new detergent from Purex that auto-doses the super-concentrated liquid for you.  So no more pouring the detergent into the cap of the bottle up to the line and then pouring into your washer.  With PowerShot you just flip the bottle and the right amount of detergent will fill a reserve at the top then you just pour that right into your washer.  It basically pre-measures it for you.

Now I will say follow the directions.  I had the cap open the first time I poured it and it poured all over, luckily it was just one pre-measured dose of detergent so it wasn’t too much that spilled out.

After seeing too how much one dose is, I realize I use way too much detergent usually, then again this is also super-concentrated so you don’t need a lot to clean your clothes!  I think this is a great idea!  Not only will I be using less detergent but I don’t have to worry about the detergents cap since its attached. This would be especially great for those in your household that don’t use detergent often since you can tell them just one dose will do the job!  The bottle automatically REFILLS so it’s ready for the next load, no flipping required.  Oh and to make the super-concentrated formula even better it has 50% more stain fighting power per drop! (vs. regular Purex liquid detergent.)  The scents available are the most popular fragrances:  Mountain Breeze and Natural Elements Linen & Lillies.
