The Novogratz New Bedding and Bath Collection – Fun & Bright! {Review}

Its funny for my clothes I am all about blacks and grays but for my housewares, I love color.  I love when things “pop” and make statements in my house.  The Novogratz line does exactly that with their new bedding and bath collection, which is also conveniently located at Walmart.  Fun, eclectic, colorful, bright and best of all – affordable!

The items include:

• Bed-in-a-Bag sets
• comforters, duvets & sheets, dec pillows
• bed frames, a futon, love seats
• shower and bath products, and more

I got the chance to check out some of the products and I absolutely love them!  They really do make a statement and feature today’s modern patterns.  The different products also are great for mixing and matching with each other or stuff you already have.

For our guest bedroom I got the 9 by Novogratz Sweet Dreams Bed in a Bag Bedding Set.  At just $75 I got everything I needed to re-do the bed:  a comforter, sheet set, four pillowcases/shams and a decorative pillow.  Everything is machine washable and 100% polyester.  I have received compliments from the guests that have used it, including my kids who love to cuddle in that bed with the “fun blanket.”  The set just brightens up the room and gives it a cozy, comfy feeling.  I love that it even comes with a decorative pillow to really compliment the set.  Oh and four pillow cases (two regular and two shams) is great as usually sets only come with two and then I struggle to find two more to match.

Next up it was the guest bathroom which got a makeover thanks to some of The Novogratz bathroom products.  I got everything for a quick, affordable makeover from the shower curtain to towels to the sink accessories and more!

First the 9 by Novogratz Bright Lights Chevron Shower Curtain:

I unfortunately can’t use a shower curtain in that bathroom as it has a glass door, but I am saving it for when my kids outgrow the rubber duckie one they have in their bathroom as this blue one will be perfect in there and the blue chevron pattern will go with anything!  Its also machine washable (polyester fabric) which is awesome!

9 by Novogratz Bar Code Bath, Hand and Fingertip Set

This is a great set of three towels including a bath, hand, and finger tip towel.  This is a perfect set for hanging in a bathroom for guests to use.  Like two on the rod and the finger tip one on the bathroom counter.  The colors are bright and will match practically any color and they really do make the room pop.  I love the thickness of the towels as you can tell they are quality ones and of course they are 100% cotton. These would look really great when paired with the 9 by Novogratz Bright Lights Chevron Shower Curtain.  I’d actually love to buy a bunch of towels to replace all the ones we have as they are so soft and thick!

Finally there is the 9 by Novogratz Bar Code 3-Piece Bath Accessories Set

This 3-piece bath set is perfect to finish off any bathroom.  It includes a lotion dispenser, soap dish and tumbler all made of 100% dolomite.  To me it feels like porcelin or stoneware, so yes it is something that can be broken.  I say it can be broken because if you have small kids that may use it then you want to be careful.  The set is great because the tumbler can be used either as a water cup or to store tooth brushes and it gives you a nice dispenser for lotion, rather than those plastic bottles they come in.  I love how the colors are bright and the pattern will match most bathroom colors.  The set is perfect whether used alone or with over Novogratz products.
