Saving a Few Dollars With the MyMixx App at @JewelOsco #MyMixx

Jewel-Osco is a store I have been shopping at since I first started buying my own groceries.  Last week I introduced the new MyMixx app from Jewel-Osco and it has been an app that I check out almost daily.

As a mom of three I seem to grocery shop a lot and while I used to clip coupons I honestly have not done that in quite some time.  Well I should say I have clipped coupons with good intentions of using them but I either forget to use them before they expired or I just plum forgot them at home.  I keep telling myself that once my kids are in school I will give myself time and not only clip coupons but also meal plan.

Luckily the MyMixx app has been a way I can not only save money but also find some great recipes for my family.

This week I didn’t need much but I was able to save a few dollars, which is better than nothing!  I always say every little bit adds up and for a last minute quick trip I was happy to save an additional $2.  I actually scrolled through the coupons while I was in the store parking lot and noticed a coupon for a pizza I wanted to try.

I have heard so much about the Screamin’ Scillian pizza from radio commercials that I had to pick one up and it will be perfect for this weekend.

The MyMixx savings prints right on the receipt and pops up on the register after I give my phone number so I know I what I am saving.  I love seeing the total go down at the end.  I wouldn’t have remembered to bring a coupon for the pizza but I did remember to quickly scan the app and add to my list the coupons I wanted to use.
