Blaze & The Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory

Released:  February 17, 2015

Studio:  Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon’s new preschool series, Blaze and the Monster Machines, makes its DVD debut with Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blazeof Glory.  The first preschool show on TV to feature an in-depth STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum, Blaze and the Monster Machines follows the adventures of the amazing monster truck Blaze and his eight-year-old driver AJ.  The DVD features the hour-long series premier episode, “Blaze of Glory,” plus a special bonus episode.  Created by Nickelodeon and distributed by Paramount Home Media Distribution, Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory arrives on DVD on Feb. 17, 2015 for the suggested retail price of $14.99.

About Blaze and The Monster Machines
In Blaze and the Monster Machines, monster truck Blaze and his driver AJ have adventures that explore the physics of how things move; tackle problems through scientific inquiry and mathematics; and discover the parts needed to make everyday technologies work.   Each action-packed episode is filled with monster trucks, physical humor and upbeat original songs with lyrics that highlight a STEM concept such as adhesion, friction, force, trajectory and magnetism..

Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory DVD includes:

Blaze of Glory –  – Blaze and AJ are introduced to a world of racing monster machines in the town of Axle City.  When Crusher, a troublemaker truck, uses his dirty tricks to try to win the championship race, Blaze does everything he can to help his friends and beat him to the finish line.

“The Driving Force” (Bonus Episode)  – When Starla, the friendly cowgirl truck, loses one of her pistons Blaze and AJ set out to get it back. But they’ll have to hurry before Crusher gets his greedy tires on it.

This is a great DVD featuring two episodes of a new show on Nickelodeon called Blaze & The Monster Machines.  We have actually not caught this on television yet so it was a nice surprise to watch the first two episodes, actually premier of the show, at home when we had the chance.  My 6 year old is a huge monster truck fan and this is the first show that I have seen that features monster trucks as the main characters!  Very cool and made my kids very happy!  The episodes are wholesome, aged for preschool and up, and have simple lessons for kids to follow such as working together, friendship and value.
