Shout! Factory Hits For Easter!

Shout! Factory has so many DVD titles available that they make perfect gifts for anyone. This Easter rather than stuffing your kids baskets with candy, why not add a few DVDs of their favorite characters?  My kids love getting DVDs!

Some titles to consider:

Monsuno: Destiny

Noah’s Ark

Based on the Bible story by the same name, Noah’s Ark journeys to biblical times to as it tells the familiar tale of Noah, his family and the animals who traveled in the ark to survive an epic flood meant to destroy the rest of civilization. This animated movie takes a lighter approach to this traditional material, as the story is mainly told from animals’ perspective, and both animals and humans can speak.

Transformers Armada: Vol. 1

The fight between the valiant Autobots and the treacherous Decepticons continues, but the fate of the war may lie in the hands of the small, power- enhancing Transformers known as Mini-Cons. With the aid of the Autobots, the Mini-Cons escape Cybertron, but their safety is short-lived after an attack cripples the ship and forces it to crash land in Earth’s solar system. Thunder & The House of Magic

The film tells the story of Thunder, an abandoned young cat who stumbles into a magical old mansion operated by a dazzling array of automatons and gizmos. Owned by a retired magician, the house is occupied by an assortment of his wacky assistants who don’t all welcome the new houseguest. But when the magician lands in the hospital and his scheming nephew puts the mansion up for sale, our young hero and his new friends join forces to save their magical home.

Travel back in time to the 1980s, MY LITTLE PONY-style! My Little Pony: The Movie is coming to DVD in the U.S. and Canada from Shout! Kids in collaboration with Hasbro Studios. The animated film has been newly restored, making Ponyland look brighter than ever! The first day of Spring is on its way and the Little Ponies are preparing for it with a big festival. But all the fun may come to an end if the witch Hydia has her way! Can the Ponies defeat Hydia and her evil daughters, Reeka and Draggle? More importantly, can they save Ponyland from the witches’ concoction, the strange purple goo called Smooze, that’s threatening to bury the whole town?
