Daylight Saving Time can be both a blessing and a curse. It is great to have that extra hour of sunlight but it is amazing how much that one hour can cost though. I remember when my kids were babies how messed up their sleep schedule would be from that one hour. Even now with my kids ranging from 3 to 8 years old, they still have problems adjusting.
A few weeks ago I got the chance to ask some questions of “The Sleep Lady” Kim West to get some tips on helping kids sleep better.
More about Kim West:
KIM WEST is a mother of two teenage girls and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been a practicing child and family therapist for more than twenty years. Known as The Sleep Lady® by her clients, she has helped tens of thousands of tired parents all over the world get a good night’s sleep without letting their children cry it out alone. Kim has appeared on Dr. Phil, the Today Show and Good Morning America and is the author of three books: “GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT: The Sleep Lady’s Gentle Guide to Helping Your Child Go to Sleep, Stay Asleep and Wake Up Happy”, the “Good Night, Sleep Tight Workbook” and “52 Sleep Secrets for Babies
One way I did ensure a better sleep for my kids when they were babies was to make sure they had a good diaper on. If they weren’t wearing a good diaper then they would wake up from the wetness. A good absorbing diaper, like Pampers, that wicks away the moisture definitely can help with keeping kids sleeping longer.
I have a great prize pack from Pampers for any parent who may need a little extra help in the sleeping category with their kids!
WIN IT: (1) US winner will receive a Pampers Prize Pack
