This month I got some great books from Parragon that my boys and daughter can enjoy.

So what books did I get for May?
$6.99 – Paperback Book
Stimulate the brain with this amazing maze book! There are over 100 incredibly puzzling activities that will be sure to keep kids engaged and thinking!
This is a great workbook type book that features over 100 incredible puzzles. From word games to puzzles to matching pictures to connect the dots, there is seriously a puzzle for everyone in this book. This would make a great book for summer boredom or a road trip. I’d say it is a book appropriate for kids ages 6 and up, with the puzzles varying in their difficulty. There are brightly colored pictures and I admit even I want to sit and work on them.
$9.99 – Hardcover
Counting has never been so fun! With this amazing picture book, children will love to search, count and learn about the different vehicles!
This is a picture book with look and find type pages. The book is all about transportation which my boys loved. For example one page shoes a bunch of boats and says “From this boat I see the trails…of 4 big boats with stripy sails.” So it has your child counting the boats with the striped sails. The book makes them think about things and problem solve, but its not hard and overwhelming. My 3 year old can actually do this book and loves the rhyming and finding various things. Parents can also make up their things to find such as “Find all the green tractors” or “How many whales are there?” Really this book has lots of possibilities, even though it is a thin picture book.
