Disclosure: I received this trip in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
So I shared the other day how my family and I got to take advantage of the partnership between Universal Orlando Resort and Royal Caribbean International by visiting both places. Our first stop was the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort which we stayed at for two nights. The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel is seriously amazing and probably one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. From its beautiful exterior that you can’t help but want to walk around and explore to its beach-like pool, my kids were in love.
Here is a view at night:
This is a pizza we had for lunch at Loews Portofino Bay:
The first day we were there we explored the resort and swam. What is super nice is that the hotel is one of the four hotels right there at Universal Orlando Resort so we were able to take a free water taxi to explore Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure® parks.
Here are some pictures of our room:
And here is a view from our room:
The first night we at dinner at VIVO Italian Kitchen at Universal CityWalk. Universal CityWalk is an amazing downtown-like area where you can just walk around and enjoy yourself. There are tons of great restaurants, shopping and even free live entertainment.
We danced a little, well the kids danced, and then we headed back to the Loews Portofino Bay for more swimming before calling it a night. The next day we were going to tackle both Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure®!
A movie while swimming, yes please!

I had no idea that they had a partnership. We cruise at least once a year and love Royal Caribbean. My kids would love staying at Loew's Portofino and taking part in the whole Universal experience. It has been a long time since we did Universal. What a fun idea. This also looks amazing for families.
When I went to Orlando, I wish I would have had a little more time to visit Universal Studios. It looks like a fun time, and the next time I go, it is a definite.
This looks like the nicest place to stay. I love that there's so many activities within and near the hotel. I'll have to keep it in mind for the next time we stay in Orlando. I only live 1 1/2 hours away so we go often.
What a wonderful place to visit and stay! Looks like so much fun!

The kids' faces says it all! You guys had a blast and I am super jealous!! I have lived in the South my entire life and never been to Florida. Seriously, never crossed the border. This makes me really want to!
