Summer Fun with Nerf Guns & Duracell Batteries #TRUPowerUpFun

Disclosure: I received the products below in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Summer for us is all about being outside. Here in Chicago we have to take advantage of all the nice weather we get so when its nice outside we head outside.  One of their favorite things to do outside is battle with their Nerf guns. While I do let them shoot around inside, I obviously much rather them shoot outside where there is much more room to play. They have even started setting up targets outside and running around the neighborhood hiding behind bushes to battle. It is amazing to see what they come up with when I kick them off their electronic devices and make them go out and play!

Well Toys“R”Us, Hasbro and Duracell have teamed up to offer parents a fun way to kick off the summer by offering affordable prices on Duracell and Nerf products! I got the chance to check out Hasbro’s Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 Blaster for each of my boys and it has become quite the exciting toy in our household.

What makes Hasbro’s Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 Blaster so much fun? It features two types of ammo for starters! Whether your child wants to blast smaller Nerf darts or big missiles, the gun can handle both! Missiles and darts can even be stored right on the device.

Product Includes:

Demolisher 2-in-1 blaster, stock, 2 missiles, clip with 10 Elite Darts, and instructions.

Product Features:

Demolisher 2-in-1 blaster fires darts, missiles, or both up to 90 feet
Motorized dart blasting and pump-action missile blasting
Acceleration trigger powers up the motor
10-dart banana clip
Detachable stock with integrated missile storage
Ages 8 and up
Requires 4 “AA” batteries (not included).

Like I said my kids had a blast with these guns. They have been playing with them daily and surprisingly keeping track of all the pieces! They love how far they can shoot, how they have storage on the guns and the motorized shooting. I love that they only require four AA batteries, which I usually have on hand! I do recommend good batteries like Duracell so you don’t have to change them soon as if your kids are like mine, they will be playing with the guns a lot!

Here are some fun facts about Duracell batteries:

AA Coppertop offers up to 15% longer lasting vs. leading competitive brands.

Duracell Quantum batteries last up to 35% longer vs. the next leading competitive brand.

Guaranteed to protect devices from damaging leaks.
