A haircut is something that can easily be taken for granted. I mean your hair gets too long, you cut it, right? A hair cut is pretty cheap so most people can afford it, but the truth is not everyone can afford a haircut. Families who have a limited budget to begin with, a haircut is not going to be a top priority. Haircuts for kids plus mom and dad can really add up.
To help underprivileged community members, Hair Cuttery has launched the Share-A-Haircut program. For its 16th year, Hair Cuttery is determined to donate tens of thousands of free haircut certificates. To date, the Share-A-Haircut program has reached more than 925,000 children with haircut certificate donations, valued at $16.65 million.
From August 1-15th, for every child up to 18 years old who purchases a haircut at one of Hair Cuttery’s almost 900 salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in that community.
Find you closest Hair Cuttery and get your family ready for back to school. The hair salons are located on the East Coast, New England and the Midwest. They are a full-service, value-priced salon that offers a full complement of cuts and styling, coloring, waxing and texturizing services. No appointment is necessary which is nice for busy families. Honestly with my kids and our crazy schedule, I have been doing things spur of the moment when we get a few minutes.
I love that Hair Cuttery not only offers affordable haircuts but a way to give back to others. I am fortunate to be able to afford haircuts but we did go through a time when we struggled. I know how hard it can be to find the extra money for things like a haircut. I think it is great that Hair Cuttery has this program for all those people that need the extra help.
I popped in at Hair Cuttery with my youngest. She was way overdue for a haircut, she had only had one haircut so far in her life. We were lucky to pop in and have no wait. My daughter was so excited to go to the “salon” and I love that just getting her a haircut helped some other child.

No hair cutter salon here but a great program
I've never heard of this chain, probably because it's not local to me but what a magnificent idea. I wish other chains would follow suit!
Cute cut and it looks easy to care for which is always nice.
I'm sad to say we don't have a Hair Cuttery Salon close to us but what a wonderful program. They did a great job on your daughter's hair. She looks so pretty.
I think that this is a great way to help the community, by getting the kids hair cuts for back to school and then after purchasing a hair cut, a hair cut is given to a child in the community. I wish they had this in my area.
