When my kids were little I do remember muslin blankets being around. I had lots and lots of cotton blankets for the three of them but they were all pretty boring and had similar patterns. Nowadays muslin blankets are the latest trends and they are a must have for new moms. I have a friend who swears by muslin blankets and after checking out the Margaux & May blankets I see what all the rage is about.
Margaux & May is a brand new boutique baby brand that offers beautiful muslin blankets. They offer muslin blankets that have been designed with mom in mind. Not the typical pinks and blue but rather 100% unique patterns that moms will love wrapping their babies in and showing them off. The designs are stylish patterns that moms will want to style themselves with!
They are 100% organic and 100% comfortable. The organic cotton wraps babies up so they feel comfortable and warm, but not too warm since the fabric is lightweight. The fabric is designed to keep babies warm and snug on cooler days, but still cool and comfortable on warmer days. They are huge (47″ x 47″) and can easily be used for swaddling, nursing or just a blanket in general. They are stretchy as well so whatever your need they can handle it!
Each Margaux & May package comes with two adorable designs in each pack. At about $30 a pack they would make a great addition to any new moms baby collection or as a treat for yourself. I know when I carried my kids around they were an extension of me and I loved when I had a soft blanket or outfit on them that I could show off. My 4 year old loves to cuddle with her muslin blanket now and she has me wrap her babies in them.
If you have never used a muslin blanket before, you definitely need to start. The Margaux & May designs make them so they can be used long after babies need them. I actually keep one in my office to cover up with when I am working since its lightweight and a good size. They are not too big and not too small.
