Getting My Disney on With Wholesale Halloween Costumes

I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Last year my family attended Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and pretty much everyone, adults included, dressed up. I ended up going as Snow White as did my 3 year old daughter. There was one costume though, well a pair actually, that so many people dressed up as – Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas. With that being my favorite Disney movie, I decided I was going as Sally next year!

One thing I will say is when you decide on a costume buy it as early as you can. Sizes run out and with costumes being mostly seasonal they may not re-stock before Halloween. I was fortunate that Wholesale Halloween Costumes had a few choices of the Sally costume in my size. There is the traditional Sally costume and the Sassy Deluxe Sally Costume – which do you think I picked?

Yep I fell for the Women’s Sassy Deluxe Nightmare Before Christmas Sally Costume. It was just more “me” because of the puffy skirt and seemed more comfortable to move in compared to the traditional Sally costume which is very straight down. I am also short so sometimes long dresses/costumes are really long on me.

The Women’s Sassy Sally Costume comes with the patchwork dress, petticoat (puffy tulle for underneath dress), glovettes and character wig. It is an officially licensed costume. I absolutely love it!  The wig is yarn and a little strange, but it is a bonus that it comes with it as usually costumes don’t. All I had to buy then is some makeup to draw on some scars and I decided to get tights too with scars on them. Just to give you an idea of size I wear a 12/14 and am 5 ft. 3 and this costume fit great. I know it can be hard to buy costumes since they don’t run normal sizes but I always buy a size bigger, especially for my kids since if they are going to wear them out trick or treating then they need to be able to layer clothes underneath.

So first here, is almost everything you get – 3 pieces – dress, petticoat and wig – not shown is the gloves because of course my 4 year old thought it would be funny to loose them!

Love the petticoat as it makes the dress puffy and more fun! You don’t have to wear it though as it is a separate piece.

I don’t have the makeup yet or the shoes, but so far its coming together. I will say though I am not a fan of the yarn wig and will probably not wear it.

What is nice is the Wholesale Halloween Costumes has options on each costumes page to “Complete the Look” or users can obviously just browse the various categories to find what they need such as Accessories, Masks, Wigs, Props and Decorations and more.

This year Halloween falls on a Saturday and we already have a party we are going to so I am so excited to have an fun and awesome costume to wear. So hurry up and think of a costume and buy it before its sold out!
