Every month I get some great books from Parragon books that my family gets to enjoy. The latest books I received were hits as expected.

Who is Parragon Books?

So what books did I get?

1000 Extreme & Extraordinary Dinosaur Facts

$9.99 – Paperback Book

Uncover 1,000 awesome facts about deadly, terrifying, and powerful Dinosaurs! Which dangerous predator could bite off a tiger-sized chunk in a single chomp? What colossal creature weighed as much as 17 elephants? Which super-sized dinosaur was the largest animal to ever walk the Earth? These prehistoric creatures roamed our planet for 165 million years! They’re extreme. They’re extraordinary. They’re the ultimate WORLD RULERS!

This book is jam-packed with dinosaur facts. What I love about it is that its not an encyclopedia. Each page has a picture and quick facts, very easy to read one page at a time. My boys are 7 and 8 and they enjoy browsing through this book. I love that they are randomly telling me dinosaur facts and it is encouraging them to read. The facts are broken down into various categories for animals including Dinosaur Diets, Dinosaur Habitats, Fossils and Discovery and more. Great for any dinosaur lover.

The Find it Book

$9.99 – Hardcover

Find the cow who jumped over the moon. Find Little Bo Peep’s lost sheep. Find the Owl and the Pussycat Look carefully as you turn each page! Find your favorite nursery rhyme characters hiding throughout this magical new title from Margaret Wise Brown, author of children’s classics Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny.

This is a mix between a picture book and I Spy book. Each page features a simple sentence like “Find Little Bo Beep’s lost sheep.” or “Find the dish that ran away with the spoon.” The pictures are beautifully illustrated and it is a perfect book to read at bedtime. My 4 year old looks forward to reading this book each night and has yet to tire of finding the same things. I started asking her to find other things from the pages and she is happy. This would make a great picture book for any child, especially fans of GOODNIGHT MOON as its the same author.
