A segway for kids? Well the Dareway Revolution is just that. It is a 12V ride-on toy geared towards kids ages 6 and up that allows kids to move forward as well as a full 360 degrees. It may look hard to stay balanced but honestly it is and my boys had no problem at all hopping on.
The base of the Dareway Revolution provides a sturdy surface and the handlebar adjusts to three different height positions so it can grow with your child. It features a dual-motor ride-on with a foot accelerator and electric brake. It charges easily and even has a Built-in LED battery charge indicator displays green, yellow and red lights. To make the ride even more rockin’, kids can even hook up their smartphone or MP3 player to the integrated audio jack as it has speakers! I will say that even though the ride has a built-in holder for the device, I didn’t trust my kids with my phone so we didn’t test out that feature.
We have kids all over our block and this ride was a hit since the day we brought it out. We have not had any problems with our Dareway Revolution and honestly it holds a charge pretty long. It is fast but not too fast, think of other 12V ride on vehicles and this goes the same speed. I do make my kids wear helmets on it nevertheless.
This is how you know when you need to charge it:
This is where a phone would go and then it connects in:
Foot pedal to GO:
I admit too I am jealous as I have always wanted to ride the adult version, the segway. My boys are 7 and 8 and have a blast on it, it also takes up a minimal amount of room compared to some other ride on toys. My favorite feature has got to be the LED battery indicator as it makes it so easy to see if something is charged or needs to be charged.
I will say too this ride-on is pricey at over $200 but if you have a few kids or know your kids will use this for a few years, you will definitely get your use out of it. It is pretty durable and I can say that with two boys using it!
BUY IT: Check out the Dareway Revolution at your local Toys R Us.

This is really cool! I wouldn't mind having it myself. lol My grandson isn't quite old enough to ride this but I'm sure he would love it too. Thank-you for the fun review. :)
Kids are lazy enought without using one of these, for adults who have troulble walking yes,but not so sure if this is good for kids or not unless they cant walk
I could certainly see how my grandkids and their friends would have so much fun with this. Nice that it has a battery indicator.
This is so cute. I have ridden a real Segway and they are fun. I am sure the children will love riding this.
