Are Your Kids Bedtime Stallers? Tell Them They Can Watch a Whole Show Before Bed! #streamteam @Netflix

I am currently a member of the Netflix Stream Team and this post is part of my involvement in the Group in exchange for receiving a product package.

I know I’m not the only mom who deals with the dreaded bedtime stalling but some nights I think “Wow, my kids are going to either be a lawyer or a hostage negotiator.” All three of my kids will stall bedtime as long as they possibly can, which is basically when I get mad and give up. Its funny how my kids think they are being sneaky and staying up later by asking for water or to go to the bathroom (again) or for another book but really my husband and I are usually too tired to argue. By bedtime we are both drained and basically going through the motions.

We have finally learned that bedtime is going to take at least 30 minutes from start to finish so we start bedtime rituals early. I feel bad sometimes starting so early but then I remember how long it takes to do before I get to sit on the couch with my husband and I no longer feel bad.

Well Netflix has made it easy to turn the tables on our kids and give in to their stalling. Next time you find your child stalling before bedtime just tell them they can watch an ENTIRE show before bed.  Yep an ENTIRE show from start to finish.

Netflix and DreamWorks Animation has launched the Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites which are new episodes of the latest hits all packaged in a 5 minute episode! Kids will get to watch a whol episode of an awesome show, thinking they are getting away with the age old ‘just five more minutes’ ploy. In just 300 seconds your kids will be marching up to bed knowing they won, or so they think.

Dinotrux ‘5 Minute Favorites’

Tucking them in is magic, it’s just getting there that’s the hard part. So make bedtime a little easier with three new Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites from Netflix.

Have you fallen victim to the bedtime stall trap?

Do you have a “5 more minute” negotiator on your hands, or is your little one slow as snails come bedtime? For this month’s post, we’re asking you to share the ridiculous, hilarious and utterly out-there excuses your kids have used to delay bedtime – and make sure to tag it with #5MoreMinutes.
