Build & Shoot With the K’NEX K-Force K-20X Building Set #KNEX

I was sent this product to review in exchange for my honest opinion.

My boys love playing with their toy guns and they love building, we have them everywhere it seems like! Well thanks to K’NEX, their two favorites have been brought together. K’NEX has a line of toys called K’NEX K-FORCE Build and Blast.

A few months ago I checked out the K-FORCE Build and Blast: K-10X Building Set and my 7 year old still plays with it daily. He has taken it apart and re-built it numerous times.

Now we got the K’NEX K-Force K-20X Building Set and it is a hit so far as well! My son had it put together in about 30 minutes all by himself and was so excited to not only build it but then shoot it. He of course started lots of modifications afterwards with other K’NEX pieces we had to build a “super gun” as he called it. That is what is so fun about K’NEX, the pieces really bring out a builder’s creativity.

The K-Force K-20X set features 165 pieces, including 5 foam darts, 1 Blaster Chamber, 2 Skull Dart Holders and 1 Quick Fit Grip. The manual includes instructions to build other guns as well plus a target holder to shoot at.

So does the gun actually shoot? Yep and it shoots far!  The box says 75 feet and while I didn’t measure it does shoot pretty far! My dad picked up the gun and didn’t realize it actually shot, he was amazed that it worked and that Gavin built it. For the price it really is a great value and something kids will want to play with after they build. You even get custom K’NEX pieces that are not easily found.
