Honestly I have stayed away from dolls that go to the bathroom, to me it seems so messy and weird. Well leave it to Lalaloopsy to come out with a doll who magically poops. While the Lalaloopsy Babies Potty Surprise Doll is a doll that goes to the bathroom, it actually is not that messy. My daughter saw her advertised on television and of course had to have her.
What I love about the Potty Surprise Doll is she does not require any liquids. You feed her the included food which is a dough and twist her belly button for her to poop. There are even different shapes you can turn it into for magical surprise fun. You get three containers of food and you can just keep reusing it. The dough is very lightweight and kinda like moon dough. I didn’t think to try out other doughs but it would definitely be something to consider as I don’t think they sell refills. I did read in a review that Play-Dough can be used but I can’t say first hand.
We didn’t have any trouble with feeding her or cleaning her up. She worked fine and has continued to work fine. I definitely see my daughter playing with this doll for awhile especially since she thinks its hysterical that she poops sparkly gems. My daughter is 4 years old and had no problem using her.
Super silly and with no liquids she is definitely one of the lesser messy potty dolls.
