Did you know that November is National Stuffing Month? No surprise here with how much stuffing is made for Thanksgiving, but stuffing doesn’t have to be just eaten on Thanksgiving! My family loves it year-round and while it may not be as fancy as when I make it for Thanksgiving, I do make stuffing often.
There are a variety of ways to cook it, and since the holiday season just begun, you can always make some now and freeze it for later occasions. Yeah for freezing it! I’ve never tried it but I am definitely going to try it with our leftovers! Whether yours is bread- or meat-based, traditional or festive (adding nuts, cranberries and spices), or you’re stuffing it in a turkey or chicken – the possibilities are endless. Try this Bacon and Nut Stuffing using HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® bacon for starters!
