10-12 – White Castle® Sliders, no pickles (more if you want to eat them while making this!)
1 1/2 cups – Celery, diced
1 1/4 teaspoons – Thyme, ground
1 1/2 teaspoons – Sage, ground
3/4 teaspoon – Black pepper, coarsely ground
1/4 cup – Chicken broth
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, tear the Sliders into pieces and add diced celery and seasonings.
Toss and add chicken broth. Toss well.
Add ingredients to Casserole Dish, add an additional 3/4 cup of chicken broth and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Or stuff the ingredients into the cavity of the turkey before roasting and cook as you normally would.
Makes about 9 cups (enough for a 10-to-12-pound turkey).
NOTES:
Allow 1 Slider for each pound of turkey, which will be equal to 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound.
I bought the Sliders the night before and just kept them in the fridge.
I made this last year and it was such a hit with my family, both White Castle fans and not. So easily to make since the burgers contain most of the ingredients!
Don’t overdue with the chicken broth if you like it somewhat crunchy otherwise it gets mushy like mashed potatoes, unless you like them that way! You can always add more chicken broth later but you can’t remove it once its all in there!
I did not cook this in the turkey but rather in a casserole pan so I can’t say how it would be in the turkey.
This looks crazy good! I've never had the privilege of having White Castle Stuffing but by the photos and the ingredients I'll be definitely be making this in the near future. Thank you for sharing this recipe!
This would be so amazing.. I love white castle so much. Wish we had one in my state..
This sounds interesting, I have to try to see what it tastes like. Thanks for sharing with us.
This is a great idea it looks delicious and easy to make.
This stuffing is so fun and clever! I love stuffing and could eat it a huge bowl every day all year round! I'd love to try this!
I haven't thought to use white castle sliders when making stuffing, but it does look good and is worth me trying
my dad os obsessed with white castle. we don't have them here, but he would love this.
I would make this. I just pinned it on my board.
This looks so good, can not wait to try it
I would eat this as a meal by itself, two of my favorite things together. White Castle & stuffing = amazing!
