Celebrating the Holidays With Lakeshore Gifts for Growing Minds

Just the other day I was talking to a friend about Christmas presents. Our kids are getting older now and with technology being everywhere I feel like my kids are constantly on something electric. Don’t get me wrong I am not saying electric toys or technology is bad, its just sometimes I wish for simpler times! Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a store dedicated to creating innovative educational materials that engage young imaginations and create a love of learning?  Well that is exactly what Lakeshore Learning is!

Lakeshore Learning is a store that is both online and an actual storefront. If you don’t have a Lakeshore Learning in your area luckily the website is fabulous to shop on. From infants to tweens, Lakeshore Learning has a product no matter the tastes. Honestly I can browse the website for hours as there is so much offered and its all organized by category and grade/age.

Recently I got the chance to check out a few products from Lakeshore Learning that are perfect for engaging kids and inspiring.

Super Safe Paper Center

All three of my kids love to draw and usually we use just use regular sheets of paper, but I have always wanted one of those rollers that you pull the paper out of. This Super Safe Paper Center comes with a 400-foot paper roll, that you can replace when needed, and is sturdy enough to withstand my three kids. It is a heavy duty roller that you set on the table or floor and just rip off when your done. I love my kids can use as much or as little paper as they need, especially if they want to create something that would normally take up a few sheets of paper. There is no sharp edge or cutter, but rather you rip it for a clean tear. It would be perfect no matter your child’s age.

Roll-on Painters

This is a set featuring 10 painters in 10 colors. They are super easy for kids to grab ahold of and doodle with in whatever design they choose. Honestly I love when my kids want to paint but I hate dragging everything out. With traditional paint there is the paint, brushes and water and usually a mess. With these Roll-On Painters I don’t have to really worry about a mess and they work great! Super fun and a good variety of colors.

Giant Stencils Box

When I was younger I had a box of stencils that I loved and used forever. My kids now love to draw and I was searching for a set of durable stencils when I came across these from Lakeshore Learning. This set comes with 36 plastic stencils in a nice plastic box. The stencils are plastic themselves so if your child gets marker or crayon on them, you can easily wipe them clean. The box holds all the stencils plus room for crayons or pencils. I love all the various stencils included and how it comes with its own storage container.
