This year marks the 15th year of the Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier in Chicago. It is prepped to be the biggest and best Winter WonderFest yet. This year every square inch of its 170,000 square foot space was used to create the ultimate holiday experience with over 25 attractions and endless entertainment for all to enjoy! There is even an indoor Ferris wheel and ice skating rink.
We went to the Winter WonderFest a few years ago and my son loved it, every year since we have missed out but this year we are determined to go.

A special section for small kids – and elves of all ages! – ensures younger children do not miss out on the fun. All guests must be 46” or smaller to participate.
This classic family favorite offers visitors the opportunity to ride round-and-round atop painted animals.
All aboard! The Reindeer Express Train Ride is a family-style, trackless train which travels more than 300-feet around a holiday village display. Commemorate your train ride with a photo captured before boarding the train.
Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Claus Residence from December 5 through 24. You can meet one of Santa’s elves or tell Santa Claus your wishes! Professional photographers will be ready to capture your visit with Santa. This fun photo op is included with General Admission Ticket.
Challenge your friends to a race through this double sided course! Battle your way through the frozen tundra to escape down the slide at the end.
Grab hold of the ropes and challenge yourself to climb to the top of these new interactive climbing walls. Gym shoes are required.
Trade the winter chills for thrills at this popular indoor ice skating rink. For your safety, personal items including cameras, backpacks and purses are prohibited on the ice rink. Purchase of an Activity Ticket (includes skate rental) is required. Participation is subject to wait times.

The classic and beloved family attraction encourages you to jump on board for a fast and furious spin on this wild ride.
Hold on! As this ride begins to spin, riders are held to the wall with the use of full Winter WonderFest force! Once it reaches top speed, riders are lifted into the air at a 45-degree angle and spun round.
All attendees (ages 3 and up) must have a ticket to enter PNC Bank Winter WonderFest. General Admission ticket includes the three attractions and photo os Holiday Howdy Horse and Snowglobe Live! This is a perfect ticket for adults who do not wish to participate in rides or activities or smaller children who would only participate in the few rides above that are included in General Admission. So definitely check out the height requirements before you go so you know what your child can and cannot go on.
