Multitask with the New LG TWIN Wash #LGTWINWash

Laundry is something I have a love/hate relationship with. I love having clean clothes and don’t mind washing them, but I hate putting them away. The problem I usually have is when my husband’s clothes, especially, come out of the dryer, they need to be ironed. So now I not only have to put the clothes away but also iron some. Ugh I don’t have time for that.

Well LG Electronics has decided to do something to revolutionize laundry. At the 2015 International CES conference they showcased an entirely new washing machine category.

In comes the TWIN WASH System, the first of its kind…

Two separate loads can be washed simultaneously! Yes two loads at once! No its not two whole, big washing machines either. The TWIN WASH System features a space-efficient mini washer in the pedestal which allows for overall cycle times to be reduced with fewer loads required. The mini washer is perfect for delicate items that require special attention or unique settings. This is awesome so you don’t have to run a whole cycle load just for a few delicates. When not in use, the pedestal on bottom not only adds washing space but elevates the washer for less bending. The mini washer can be combined with any of LG’s front loading washers. Yeah for an ergonomic design.

Need faster wash cycles or want smart connectivity options?

Yep the TWIN WASH has you covered in those departments too! TurboWash 2.0 and TurboSteam wash cycles are faster while WiFi and NFC means smart connectivity including LG’s HomeChat messaging service.

TurboWash 2.0 uses twin nozzles at the front of the washer to spray a concentrated detergent solution directly onto the clothes. Then a high pressure nozzle above the drum sprays tiny particles through the clothes during high spin cycles for quick and effective rinsing.

TurboSteam gives a speed boost to the new dryers. The Steam Fresh function refreshes clothes up to 50 percent faster than in previous dryers. TurboSteam can even prevent over-drying by spraying hot steam onto clothes during the drying cycle, so no more shrinkage. Clothes will also be sanitized while eliminating wrinkles.

As far as smart connectivity goes, the built-in SmartThinQ technology adds a whole new level of WiFi convenience. Custom cycles can be uploaded to the washer so cycle status can be monitored via an LG smartphone app. The app can even alert the user over WiFi to when the cycle is complete. The washing machine also has an Energy Monitoring feature that provides helpful data while LG’s proprietary HomeChat service allows users to check the status of their washing machine using everyday natural language.

LG didn’t forget about Dryers…

LG’s EcoHybrid dyer won the CES 2015 Innovation Award as well as the EPA’s ENERGY STAR Emerging Technology Aways due to its sophisticated Heat Pump technology, which means greater energy efficiency and superb drying performance.

LG’s new washer-dryer pair has basically taking laundry to a new level.

From its design, which includes a better angle so users don’t have to bend as much as well as a newly designed sliding detergent box, to its powerful cleaning process, the TWIN WASH system can practically do it all.  The 5.7 cubic foot capacity and 9.0 cubic foot capacity dryer are equipped to handle all your laundry needs – perfect for multi-tasking moms.
