Animal Crossing amiibo Festival Bundle

Released: November 13, 2015

Studio:  Nintendo

Includes game, two amiibo figures and three amiibo cards.

Animal Crossing amiibo figures and cards get their own party game

The board layout can remain the same, but the spaces and even the environment changes, depending on which month players choose for their game. As in other Animal Crossing games, players can buy turnips and use strategy to decide when to sell them for big money.

Another mode challenges players to help animals gather supplies to build a raft and escape an island before time runs out.

One compatible amiibo is required per player and are (sold separately).

Wether you have played Animal Crossing before or not, this game is one to check out. This game is basically a big board game plus Animal Crossing in one. Players go around a game board after rolling the dice and face various challenges and mini-games. To me it reminds me of Mario Party which we love.

For Animal Crossing fan, I am sure this game would be an even bigger hit. It is a great family game or even as a single player against the computer. You choose how long you want the game to last and what type of game you want to play. Your player piece is an actual amiibo figure, which you get two with this set (others sold separately). You actually tap your amiibo figure onto the Wii U gamepad.

As far as a crossover with Animal Crossing, there are the familiar characters and exploring crops in a town. You talk to different townspeople and buy/sell crops. There is strategy as well with the crops of course. My 9 year old says this game is a fun party game and he liked the amiibo interaction. I noticed there is a lot of dialogue on the screen so if your kids can’t read then I would suggest being around to help, if you want your child to practice their reading though this game is great! The game can get costly though if you start buying the various amiibo figures so keep that in mind. It does take a few tries before you really get hooked on this game but I think it will be a hit, especially with younger fans.

BUY IT:  You can buy Animal Crossing amiibo Festival Bundle for Wii U on Amazon or wherever games are sold.
