Watch & Display Your Child Grow With Growth Chart Art

When my husband and I bought our first house, there was things that I envisioned for it. I wanted pictures and pieces of art on the walls, shelves hung in various rooms and specific light fixtures. Another thing I wanted was a spot to measure our kids when we started having them of course. I always loved how people would measure their kids and then be able to look back. We unfortunately didn’t have a good spot in our first house to measure my oldest child and then we moved and then we moved again. It’s not like I could have taken a 2×4 from the house when we moved.

Sure there are growth charts that are fabric or paper ones but they are usually geared towards younger kids. I actually had an elephant one for my first child but I never wanted to write on the fabric so it never got used.

Well a few months ago I discovered a product that was exactly what I was looking for, but didn’t realize existed.

Growth Chart Art is a company that creates beautiful and timeless growth charts that are meant to be displayed like a piece of art. Their products are made out of environmentally friendly materials like formaldehyde-free plywood, eco-friendly inks and post-consumer paper/packaging. The products are designed to stand the test of time and you can even get them personalized.

I chose to to check out the Ruler Growth Chart in Natural Birch because honestly I loved the design of it looking like a big ruler!

Writing on it was simple, you get a marker which of course I lost but I did have a Fine Sharpie that worked just fine. Oh and installation is simple – just a few anchors and screws which are included. I chose black for all my kids but you could even use different colors for different kids. We also measure randomly rather than at special occasions like holidays or birthdays.

Here is what we used to use, don’t get me wrong I love it but its not always accessible, when we move it won’t be able to move with us and its not something we would ever show anyone because of where its at.
