Honestly my daughter is not a Shopkins addict but I can definitely see the appeal in them. She is only 4 years old and doesn’t realize how many Shopkins really are out there to collect nor does she have anyone to trade with but like I said I see what all the hype is about. They are seriously cute and with over 140 to collect they are fun little pieces that you can not only collect but actually play with. When I was younger I remember collecting trading cards, but while they were fun to trade you couldn’t really play with them.
Well Shopkins are more than just the Shopkins pieces you collect, there are also play sets and even Shopkins dolls. I got the chance to check out a few new and hot Shopkins toys and they are perfect for any Shopkins fan whether new or old!
This set comes with 12 Shopkins total, 10 that you can see and 2 that are a mystery. You also get four little shopping bags and a shopping basket! Each pack varies so you could actually buy more than one of these sets and get different pieces. With 12 pieces this is a great starter set or for adding to a collection. I love that they are so little and come in so many different varieties, it seems like there is a Shopkins for everything! I haven’t opened this set yet as my daughter is still enjoying the pieces from the Ice Cream Truck set she got as well as her other Shopkins.
There are three different Shopkins Shoppies dolls, Bubbleisha being one of them. She is about 4 inches tall and comes with two exclusive Shopkins plus accessories. Each Shoppies doll has her own personality, Bubbleisha can be sweet when she wants to our sour when her attitude comes out. She loves to play with her Shopkins friends, Bubblicious and Bubba Gum. She is not a doll you’d change the clothes of but you can brush and style her hair. She would be fun for any Shopkins fan or child who loves little dolls to play with. Definitely unique!
This is a Ice Cream Truck play set perfect for the Shopkins. There are plenty of ways to use them from driving the truck to sitting at the table or even as workers in the truck. Included are two exclusive Shopkins and two cooler bags which actually open and close. Everything can even be stored inside when done. It is a very cute set and great way to incorporate the Shopkins into playing. Why just keep Shopkins on display when you can actually play with them! My 4 year old daughter zooms this truck around, just like her brothers zoom their cars around. When she is done, she puts everything inside for the next time. No batteries required. Simple but fun and allows for lots of creative play!
Overall, I have found Shopkins to be fun to not only collect but actually play with. I love that there are playsets and dolls available and that Shopkins are designed to be played with and not just displayed on a shelf. And if by any chance you have not heard of Shopkins, I am sure you will as they seem to be appearing everywhere and still going strong!

Those new Shopkins products are really cute! I do know all about them because a lot of students where I substitute teach, bring them to school. I have to remind them to put them in their backpack, but not before glancing at them to see how cute they are. Too bad my daughter's not little anymore. We would have fun playing Shopkins.
I think my granddaughters would spend many hours playing with this. So cute and I like all the accessories that come with it.
