I live in the Midwest but I have traveled to both the East and West coasts. It is always amazing to me no matter where I travel how different people dress according to where they live. I feel like I am a combination of both coast’s fashion styles. I believe too to always be true to yourself and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident! The weather plays a big part in fashion as does the work environments. I see the East Coast as more busy and professional looking while the West Coast is more laid back and go with the flow.
Curious about the different fashion inspirations across the nation’s coasts? Below is a fun infographic on Fashion Must Haves. I think the West has more flexibility because of the warmer weather year-round but the East coast gets to wear warmer styles which double as warming the wearer and keeping them stylish.
