Building With Magformers Creator Neon Set

My kids first tried out Magformers last year at a local speciality toy store and ever since they’ve asked for some. We got them two sets for Christmas but Magformers are something you can never have enough of. What is great about Magformers is you can constantly add to your collection with different colored pieces and different shapes.

Recently I got the Magformers Creator Neon Set to check out. It is a small set with just 26 pieces, but those 26 pieces really go far. The colors are fun and really pop when you build something.

Now I will say Magformers are on the pricer side as far as building sets go for what you get. For example, this set runs around $40 which means each piece is over $1 each. So what makes Magformers so special? Well Magformers are a lot safer than other magnet sets. The pieces are BPA Free HQABS Plastic. Next, the magnets are enclosed safely inside the plastic, so no worrying about the magnets falling out and kids swallowing them.  The magnets are also Neodymium Rare-Earth Magnets which means guaranteed connectivity – perfect so kids don’t get frustrated trying to attach them.

 

 

Magformers are all about inspiring creativity and my kids come up with amazing creations with them. From a few pieces to the whole set, you can build a bunch of little creations or use them all for a big creation. If your kids get stumped they can look at the included manual which has ideas for what to build.

I would recommend Magformers for kids ages 3 and up and by up I mean even older kids!  My boys are 7 and 9 and they play with Magformers as well. My neighbors kids play with them and she even suggested throwing them in a bowl and using as a table decoration for a coffee table. They are perfect to pick up and build with and the colors are really fun, especially with this Neon Set.
