This is a sponsored post on Build-A-Bear Workshop. I received product in exchange for my review; however, all opinions stated are my own.
To celebrate school ending and summer starting, I decided a trip to Build-A-Bear Workshop was in order. It was perfect too because Build-A-Bear Workshop has introduced three new furry friends to their realistic pet collection, Promise Pets, and my daughter has been asking for a pet! Since I am not ready to bring an actual furry friend to our house, I love that Build-A-Bear Workshop allows kids to create their own furry friend to love.
The Promise Pets line from Build-A-Bear Workshop welcomes Calico Cat, Dachshund and Westie into its collection.
What’s really great about Promise Pets is the complementary, downloadable mobile app (available on iTunes and Google Play) that brings the experience of pet care to life — teaching children about pet care and showing them how to become responsible pet owners through an interactive play experience. We haven’t tried out the app yet but I love that its available. You get a code when you buy a pet and you just add it to the app so yes your child’s actual pet variety will be the pet they get.
If you’ve never been to Build-A-Bear Workshop before, it is truly an experience. The best part though is you not only get the fun of building the toy and the fun of it later but your child gets the whole in-store experience for free!
I won’t give the whole experience away but it includes stuffing the plush, saying a promise, a bath, dressing and more. Build-A-Bear Workshop has even evolved their stores with new technology and it is pretty cool to see how even the pet’s bath tub is high tech!
While my boys are animal lovers, superheroes are more in line with them. Luckily there is the Marvel Minis collection. These minis are seriously adorable and their size makes them perfect for collecting. My boys each have a few Build-a-Bear Workshop plushes but honestly they are running out of room in their rooms so the mini guys are perfect!
Overall, no matter what your child is into, there is a Build-a-Bear Workshop plush available. Each month more characters are added and even movie collections are added such as Finding Dory, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Ghostbusters!
Oh and don’t think Build-a-Bear Workshop is just for kids either! I have been there to get my husband a bear for Valentines Day. I’ve gotten gifts for baby showers there as well. There is seriously so many occasions that Build-a-Bear Workshop plushes are perfect for or even just because.
