Summer Fun With H2OGO! Backyard Water Toys

With three kids home with me all summer I am all about finding ways to keep them entertained. We don’t have a big enough yard for a pool and I didn’t think we’d go to the community pool enough to make it worth the price. As much as we love waterparks they are pretty expensive for our family of five and usually something we do as a special treat over the summer.

Luckily there are some great products out there I found that make it easy to bring the waterpark to our yard!

Bestway’s line-up of H2OGO! backyard water toys has some fun new summer products including their popular first and only water slide with a built-in inflatable speed ramp that was launched last year.

My kids got the chance to check out a few of the H2OGO! products and we created a mini-waterpark right in our front yard.

H2OGO! Tether Ball Splash

This is classic tether ball that is part inflatable and part water as it connects to a hose. I had this set up and ready to go in minutes. It is 6.5 feet long and my boys whipped it around over and over.

H2OGO! Color Wave Pool

This pool is a typical rectangular inflatable pool that adds the excitement of built-in LED lights. We, unfortunately, haven’t had the chance to test out the pool at night yet but I think it is a neat option. The pool is completely fine without the LED part and my kids didn’t even know it had that feature. I will say though this took me a while to fill up with our air compressor as it has two rings to fill up. I would recommend filling it up with air and starting the hose in it before getting your kids all excited about it. I had a million kids asking me “Is it done yet?”

H2OGO! Backyard Triple Water slide

With three kids I was super excited to have a slide that could accommodate all three kids. What makes this slide stand apart from other slides is it has an inflatable part which kids slide off on rather than hitting the hard ground right away. It allows for a much smoother slide down the 18 feet to the drench pool.  It is a tight fit for three kids so if you have rough kids like me, you might want to have them go down one at a time or even two. I was worried my three would crash into each other but once they get used to it I am sure they will be fine going three at a time.

We have used this slide a few times so far. It is not super heavy-duty and I don’t expect it to last for next season but for the price it seems good for a season. The directions are a little confusing but if you disregard them it is easy enough to figure out and yes you do need to connect a hose to it for it to work. You do get stakes as well to keep it in place.

Overall, I do think Bestway’s line-up of H2OGO! backyard water toys are affordable and can create a fun waterpark right at home. My kids and the neighborhood kids had a blast and they would do it every day if I had the energy to set it all up and take it down!
