Displaying Coins as Art #3DCoinArt

When my brothers were younger, they collected coins and displayed them in cardboard inserts. The cardboard wasn’t anything fancy but I remember them loving it.

Well a New York City based company called NSI International Inc. has come out with a super fun way to not only organize coins but display them. Is it a puzzle? Is it a bank? Is it a piece of art? 3D Coin Art are creations users can build that display their coins.

I got the chance out the 3D Coin Art US Flag Set with my family and it is a great family activity.

I will say when I first saw it I was a little concerned over how many coins it would take and did we have that extra money to display it as art? Well the whole US Flag Set is actually only $25 in coins!

You do need to have all $25 in coins before you can fill it but then it can be displayed nicely. I would have preferred to use it as a bank where we fill it as we go but that is not how it works. I guess you could fill it as you go but it would be a pain to keep opening and closing.

It is meant as a piece of art and to peak interest in coin collecting. I would highly recommend washing your coins first as it recommends as coins can be pretty filthy!

My kids actually just cashed in their coins so we have a pretty pathetic coin set right now but they are interested in starting their collection to fill this!
