Every month I get some great books from Parragon books that my family gets to enjoy. The latest books I received were hits as expected.

Who is Parragon Books?

So what books did I get?

Lots of Dots for Little Hands

Start little, learn BIG with this wipe-clean, dot-to-dot activity book! Inventive prompts will inspire your child to complete the fun dot-to-dot pictures, while gentle, educational concepts throughout – such as counting, matching and opposites – introduce learning in a friendly way. Plus, the wipe-clean format means your little one can enjoy this activity book again and again! Comes with detachable wipe-clean pen.

This is the perfect connect-the-dot book for young kids. I’d say between 5-7 years old would be perfect. The book uses a dry erase marker which it comes with (and can be stored in) and works your child through different challenges. It starts easy and then seems to get harder. Kids have to count by numbers, follow shapes and colors and solve the puzzles. It is a cute book and perfect for keeping kids busy. It is challenging in the sense that there are multiple sets of dots to connect on some pages. For example, there is a red set of 1-6 and then a blue set on the same page. Very cute and very fun. You get a black dry erase marker and then I gave my daughter some other colored dry erase markers to color in. It would be nice if it was spiral bound so it stayed open easier but for the cost I didn’t expect much. My daughter got used to holding the book open.

Dinosaur Stencil Activity

Craft Factory is a new and original brand with an eye-catching vibrant design that’s sure to make this range really stand out from competitors! Tri-fold pages fold into a hard surface for stenciling, which keeps kids entertained on-the-go.

This is a spiral bound book full of fun dinosaur stencil pages. There is a hard cardboard page where you put your paper and then flip to the stencil you want to use. It is super kid-friendly and colorful. The pages are all thick cardboard and pretty durable. Very easy for young kids to use and create their own dinosaur masterpieces.

This is a great book for families. It has a nice hard cardboard cover perfect for toting on the go or just everyday use. I like to keep ours in the kitchen for dinner riddles! There are riddles to figure out as well as some puzzle to fill out and complete. There are a lot of riddles that end “What am I?” Perfect for ice-breakers, getting the family to work together and just working your brain out! There is even an elastic strap to keep the book closed or mark your spot. All the answers can be found at the end of the book.

Disney Frozen Snowflakes and Sparkles

Join Anna and Elsa for a fantastic Frozen adventure! Complete the activities and use your crayons to make the pictures look pretty.

This is a coloring activity book with nice white pages (not the old-school yellow pages found in coloring books.) You get four crayons and a crayon keeper built into the front of the book, just be careful because its just on the thin cover of the book. You get a free Disney digital storybook from Disney Story Central App with this book, just redeem the code on the app store – so its like two books in one!  The pages tell the Frozen story. The activities are a little tricky for little kids who may need help with them but they can enjoy the coloring part. You also get a sheet of 30 stickers to use wherever.

Disney Pixar Lots to Discover

With over 300 pages and 40 stickers, this is the ultimate coloring book for any Disney Pixar fan. Add color to each of Riley’s emotions, brighten up Arlo the Apatosaurus and his dino buddies, and so much more! Then use your awesome stickers to decorate the pages.

This is a giant coloring book that uses traditional beige colored pages for kids to color on. The pages are full of Pixar characters your child will love to color and hang up all over. The book is broken down into stories of each of the movies with the story written as a sentence on the top of each page. The back has two pages of stickers.
