Getting Your Team Spirit on at Gordmans #NewAtGordmans

Last weekend my husband and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We went to dinner and afterwards we headed over to Gordmans. I know sounds romantic, right? Well after 11 years of marriage, we are definitely more about being practical. We run around so much during the week with the kids that we never get to shop just us. I honestly can’t remember the last time we shopped together for stuff for us, not the kids.

Our mission at Gordmans was to stock up on team gear for my husband and I. Our three kids all have sports apparel but I never think to buy adult apparel! Gordmans carries team apparel for the whole family and housewares for hosting a winning party.

If you have never been to a Gordmans before, prepare to spend some time there. They seriously have a little (or lot) of everything. From clothes to toys to housewares and even small furniture pieces, I could spend hours browsing the store. What I love though is there prices. They take the suggested retail price and then cut it down.

Here are some adorable Fall decorations I had to hold myself back from buying (we have plenty of decorations right now):

Being a hockey family from Chicago we obviously root for the Blackhawks. I was able to get a cozy, Blackhawks coat, two Blackhawks shirts, and then a Perry Ellis long sleeve shirt and pants for my husband to wear under his hockey equipment. So for three NHL branded items, a Perry Ellis designer shirt and warm workout pants I paid just over $100.

I have looked at a few sports stores by our house and the prices were so high that I passed on by, Gordmans made it so I could not only get something for myself but my husband as well. It was fun shopping alone with my husband and even as someone who dislikes shopping, my husband was amazed at everything he found there. I now have some great ideas for Christmas!
