Ripley’s Believe It or Not Review {Wisconsin Dells} #wisdells #BelieveIt #ripleysdells

I received complimentary tickets for my family in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Are you fascinated by strange and odd things? Do you like seeing things that defy what we think is possible?

Ripley’s Believe It or Not in Wisconsin Dells may seem like just another tourist attraction but it is actually a building jam packed with three floors of odd things. There are 11 different galleries full of puzzling illusions that you won’t see anywhere else. Even if you have been to Ripley’s before, it is worth checking out again as they are constantly adding new stuff!

I brought my kids (ages 5, 8 and 9 years old) and they were totally fascinated by the exhibits. While I did have to read them some of the plaques, they were able to understand what a lot was just by looking. They became quite the little explorers! There are even some secret passages to explore which my kids loved finding, including a hidden staircase.

You can spend as much time as you want in the exhibits as you are free to explore at your own pace. We actually ended up going back to other exhibits we rushed through. I actually think my favorite part was the movie about Ripley himself. It was neat to hear the story behind the man. My kids loved the jail and shrunken head!

I wasn’t able to take a lot of pictures because it was dark in there but I did grab a few:

  • It has been years since we visited Ripley's Believe It or Not! Our kids loved it - seeing all of the "unbelievable" crazy displays. I love that you can take your time looking at all of the displays without feeling rushed. Great review!

  • We've been to a Ripley's Museum in California. We had a blast! That was in 2004. We've been to the Dells, but not to Ripley's. I would go back to the Dells to see the museum! This is such a good idea! Thanks for sharing this!

  • I'd love to go here with the family :) I think the kids would really have fun and find it fascinating!
