I don’t know when it started but the mermaid phase seems like it is here to stay. From mermaid fins kids can wear in the pool to blankets and toys, mermaids seem to be taking over. My own daughter is completely in love with mermaids and actually dressed up as Ariel for Halloween.
Well unlike anything else out there, Enchantails has come out with a mermaid-inspired slumber bag and book series. The series is built about real-life places in the ocean for young girls to explore.
Tristy, the mastermind behind Enchantails, formulated this undersea realm when her husband Mark was making a mermaid tail for Adam Sandler’s film Bedtime Stories, and the eldest of their four daughters wanted one of her own. Tristy then set out to create the world of Oceana and its 12 realms based on mythology and real-life places across the ocean to intrigue, excite and transport young minds ages 4-11 around the world.
Each elegant and plush Slumber Bag set includes: a book, a Carry Tote, decorator pillow, the slumber bag featuring glow-in-the-dark thread, and wall decals featuring Mermaids and their Sea Buddies.
I received an Enchantails Slumber Bag Set for my 5 year old and she was beyond excited.
The plush bag is made of a high quality polyester and feels absolutely amazing. I love that it comes with not just the bag either but a pillow and carrying (storage) bag as well. And yes the slumber bag fits in the carrying bag. You also get Mermaid Wall Decal stickers and an Adventure Chapter Book.
My daughter drags her sleeping bag all over with her. It travels around our house for her to lay in and snuggle with and it has gone to grandmas house once so far. She has already asked for sleepovers at friend’s houses as well because she now has her own sleeping bag. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this set.
If you buy one of the sets and want more mermaid fun, you can buy the two other books as well that come with the other slumber sets. I like that you can buy the books separately without having to buy another slumber set. Perfect for more mermaid adventures.
