Finding Items in Plain Sight With Find It® Games

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Finding a game that the whole family can enjoy can be hard, especially with kids with various ages. Games need to be easy enough for younger kids but still challenging that older kids will enjoy it. In my household, we have kids ranging from ages 6 to 10 years old so game nights can be tough around here. Find It® Games though has been a great addition to our game night rotation.

If you have never heard of Find It® Games before then you are definitely missing out. They are tall clear tubes full of beads that basically contain an adventure. They may seem like a one-time game but they actually contain hours of fun!

Ways to play a Find It® Game:

  • Spin, Twist and Shake the tube to find all of the 40 objects. There is even a convenient list of the items on the top of the game tube or you can print out a list from the Find It® Games website.
  • Lay out the 27 cards with “Side 2” facing up and find the items that match various characteristics. For example, the card may say “Find a student” or “Find something that starts with a letter A-L”
  • Lay out the 27 cards with “Side 1” facing up and find the 40 items. You can race against another person or just time yourself!
  • Try to beat your score – Each item has a point value with harder to find items being a higher point value! They are very hard to find too that I haven’t even found them all in our sets!

My kids love our Find It® Games collection! I keep them laying around our house just so they can be picked up anytime and played with. They are truly fun just picking up and looking around in them. It is amazing how simple the game is but how hard it is too! The cards are a nice addition to the game but are fun without them as well.  I am even taking one with us on our upcoming road trip since it’s easily played with in the car!

The only thing I wish is there was a way to store the cards on the tube since we don’t really use the box it came in to store the item. Otherwise, the game series is amazing! My family loves the various characters too that are featured in the games! I love that Find It® Games uses some of the hottest licenses today including Captain Underpants and Where’s Waldo.

Normally Find It Games are for ages 6 and up but if you are looking for one for a younger child, there is even one for kids ages 3 and up featuring Sesame Street characters! The pieces are larger too for younger kids to easily spot!
