Rick collaborated with illustrator John Rocco on two best-selling collections of Greek myths for the whole family: Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods and Percy Jackson’s Greek Heroes. About the Illustrator
Keith Robinson graduated with a degree in graphic design and illustration in 1992 and worked as an animator on some of the earliest digital media productions for clients around the world. He joined the BBC and was part of the R&D team that developed the corporation’s first website. He later founded Codename, an award-winning media production company, before he became a freelance illustrator in 2001. His illustrations have been featured in children’s books, magazines, television programs, and on postage stamps. He especially enjoys drawing fantasy, mythical, and historical subjects. He lives on the south coast of England.
I personally have read the books and so far my family has seen the movies, all of us love Percy Jackson. I am excited that my boys are at an age now where they can sit and devour the Percy Jackson series on their own. I remember escaping into the Camp Half Blood world and the lives of the characters. This coloring book is an awesome collection of illustrations of various levels of artwork. There are pages with less detail that are easier to color and ones with lots of detail. My kids and I have been coloring pages for days now and it has made its way into our busy bag for when we are stuck waiting at sports practices.
I really like how this book is both easy and challenging. Some days I want something easy and quick to color and unwind to. Some days I want to be challenged and have a lot of stress to work out. It is amazing how well coloring can de-stress a person! This book is perfect for both boys and girls who love the Percy Jackson series as well as those that are new to the series.
