So Much to Do at Hersheypark #HersheyparkHappy #Hersheypark

I received tickets in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I have wanted to take my family to Hersheypark for years and this summer I was finally able to. We drove all the way to Hershey, Pennsylvania, and I am so glad we were able to squeeze Hersheypark in.

Fun fact about Hersheypark…

Hersheypark was originally created by Milton S. Hershey as leisure grounds from employees of Hershey’s Chocolate Factory. Today the family theme park welcomes guests from around the world to experience Hersheypark all year long!

What is there to do at Hersheypark?

Honestly, so much! We spent open to close and easily could have spent 1-2 more days there. We are not amusement park rookies either, we go regularly to the parks near us in Chicago but Hersheypark really has a lot to offer.

So many roller coasters – big and small! Whether you are a roller coaster newbie or enthusiast, there is a roller coaster for you. We didn’t wait for some of the bigger ones due to longer waits but there was plenty available.

A water park – All 15 water attractions are included! The day was a little chilly so we didn’t do the lazy river or water slides, but we couldn’t pass up the wave pool! My kids said they could have spent a whole day just in the water park if it was hotter out!

So many family and kiddie rides – I was honestly impressed with how many kiddie versions they had of the bigger rides and just family rides in general. There was plenty for my 6-year-old so she wasn’t waiting around for her brothers who were on bigger rides.

This is new for 2017 and features three different ride heights perfect for kids who need to work their way up!

Ride Measurement Station – Right when you enter the park you can have your kids measured so you know right away if they are tall enough for a ride. Each ride shows what it is for – Twizzlers, Reese’s… This is nice too so you don’t wait in line for something your kid is not tall enough for.

ZooAmerica is included! Yes an 11-acre, walk-thru zoo inside Hersheypark features more than 200 animals from five regions of Noth America! You can also visit only the Zoo and pay a seperate price at the off-street entrance.

So many food choices – I mention this because often at amusement parks, the food is generic, greasy food. I could not believe all the food choices including Chick-fil-A, Subway and Moe’s Southwest Grill!

Allergy friendly food – One of the restaurants was even geared to allergens. You can, of course, ask at any of the food locations for ingredient information but this restaurant had everything posted on the menu outside.

Hersheypark is open all four seasons – In addition to in spring and summer, Hersheypark hosts Hersheypark in the Dark (Halloween) and Hersheypark Christmas Candylane.

More and More at Hersheypark…

Really the park is huge and I highly recommend going for at least two days if you can. I really feel like we barely scratched the surface at the park. Just looking at the Hersheypark website now, I saw a bunch of rides I don’t even remember seeing there! Plus we never made it into ZooAmerica because we were too busy riding rides!
