Working Out With Wireless Fitness Earbuds – Jabra Elite Sport

Now that my kids are all in school full-time I finally am working on some ‘me’ time. One thing I am finally doing is exercising, which believe me is something that is taking a lot of effort on my part. I have never exercised regularly and I have told myself every excuse. Well thanks to some great deals on workout apparel and the new Jabra Elite Sport fitness earbuds, I no longer have excuses.

So what is so special about the Jabra Elite Sport?

For me, it is the wireless capability combined with comfort. I have tried earbuds before and they fall out due to fit and/or the attached cord. These earbuds by Jabra have no cord to worry about and they come with a ton of different sized earbuds to try out! You get 3 sizes of EarWings, 3 sizes of silicone EarGels and 3 sizes of FoamTips – small, medium and large for each. It took me a few tries to get them comfortable but with all the sizes and styles, I did find one that was perfect.

Sound is another issue I have experienced, meaning background noise when I am trying to talk or I end up turning the volume way up because to hear over background noise. The Jabra Elite Sport earbuds actually have two microphones in each bud that work together to filter out background noise. It is crazy how much tech is packed into these small earbuds.

Battery power is something I have struggled with in the past with wireless devices but these actually hold 4.5 hours of continuous play time plus include a portable charging case – so you have a total of 13. 5 hours of power. The charging case provides additional charges up to 9 hours. I can actually go almost a week before I need to charge these. Hardcore fitness users can definitely get by without charging for a few days.

I am someone who likes to hear my surroundings when I walk and what is great about these earbuds is you can wear just one of both. You do though need both buds if you want to fully control them – the left is for volume and the right is to play/pause/answer/end call. The right also controls the app.

Combined with the Jabra Sport Life app you can actually track your heart rate and track your fitness level, but that is not all. You can also set up training plans to receive coaching recommendations, get workouts to do and track and more. It is like having a personal trainer in your ear guiding and motivating you!

Oh and yes these earbuds are waterproof against sweat and come with a 3-year warranty.
