When I hear the words “Hot Wheels” I immediately think of “classic.” Something about Hot Wheels just makes me think about my own childhood and now my own kid’s childhood. It is a brand both boys and girls have loved for generations.

Being a girl made no difference to my daughter as she grew up loving Hot Wheels thanks to her two older brothers. So when it came time to upgrade her bike, I was excited to give her a Hot Wheels bike.

My husband appreciated the easy assembly. Most of the bike was already assembled and the rest was pretty quick. My daughter of course couldn’t wait to ride it and since the weather was rainy, I let her play with it around the house.

The 16″ Hot Wheels Boy’s Bike is a bike that makes a perfect gift for any Hot Wheels fan. It features a Hot Wheels design with bright colors and offers a smooth ride on most surfaces. The size of the bike is geared towards 4-8 years old, but the design is one that even my 10-year-old was drooling over! It is definitely a bike that stands out and will turn heads!

The coolest feature though by far that makes this bike really stand out is the rev grip that features light and sounds just like a car! My daughter thinks she is the coolest kid when she revs up her bike. Plus the racing shield in the front gives it an extra special cool factor.

My daughter has been cruising around on her new bike and it offers a smooth ride for kids. There are coaster brakes and a real caliper which means smooth stopping and the knobby tires make it so it cruises nicely on most surfaces. The frame is steel and the pedals are plastic – overall, it is a sturdy bike.

While the bike does say it is for boys, believe me when I say that girls will love this bike too. My daughter has never said it is a boy bike and just keeps saying how cool it is. My 9-year-old fits on it and wanted it for himself and she wasn’t having any of it – the bike is hers. Oh, and it does come with training wheels but they easily come off for when your child is ready.
