A few months ago my 9-year-old son came home with this folded shapes of paper. He was attempting his own origami creations based off him watching a friend make something. I told him there are books that can help him and his eye lit up. Months later, he is still creating with origami but luckily he has expanded his building skills thanks to two new books he received.
This is the perfect starter kit for a beginner or add-on for a master creator. It features more than 200 sheets of double-sided origami paper and an instruction booklet to fold ten different animals. My son loves learning all the different folds and seeing his final creations. There is so much paper in this pack and so many different designs. Once he actually uses up all the paper, he will still have the instruction booklet, if he even needs it by then to reuse!
This book is another book great for origami creating. It is a set that comes with over 140 sheets of custom-printed paper and instructions to create 20 masters of flight. I was worried that this might not appeal to my 9-year-old but he loves it. There are instructions for all sorts of flying creatures from pterodactyls to flying fish and more. The paper is amazingly illustrated and printed.
I highly recommend getting one of these origami books if you have a child (or for you) who is working on origami. My son’s skills have grown so much with the help of these books and he has become so confident while he creates. The instructions are visual and he was able to pick up on them quickly. Both books come with paper and instructions which is nice because then you can start folding right away.

I don't have children, but my niece's does origami
We do like origami.

My daughter has actually been asking recently to try origami, so this would be perfect.
She doesn't do origami at the moment.
