Car Review

10 Things I love about the 2018 Hyundai Sonata #DriveHyundai

I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My first car was a Hyundai Accent and to this day, it is still one of my favorites. I wasn’t anything fancy and wasn’t very fast but it was perfect. I rarely had to get gas and I never had any problems in the six years I owned it. I had forgotten how amazing Hyundai cars are until I got to drive around a 2018 Hyundai Sonata.

10 Things I love about the 2018 Hyundai Sonata:

Turbo. The model I drove was a Turbo edition and had amazing pickup! Even my husband who loves fast cars said he wished he checked out the Sonata before he bought his car. There was no special button for Turbo, it was just built in and fast!

Roomy. You can easily fit five people in the car and not be smooshed. We had plenty of leg room and my three kids fit perfectly in the back seat.

The back seats fold down at the push of a button. My husband and kids play hockey and we appreciated the seats folding down to fit the hockey sticks. We obviously couldn’t put the back seats down if we had all three kids in the back seat but you can flip down one side and still fit someone back there.

Push Button Engine Start. This is becoming standard but it goes along with keyless entry and is a convenience thing.

Navigation/Entertainment System. This navigation was super easy to use and I didn’t need a manual to figure out. I love how easy it was to input the addresses and search for places.

Push button lock on the car door. This is nice if you have the keys in your purse or pocket as the car senses it. You don’t need to get the keys out but can lock/unlock the car by pushing the button.

Sporty design. It looks like a high-end car but without the high cost!

Plenty of USB and charger outlets. There is even a USB outlet in the backseat area. There is even heat/air vents back there!

Qi charger built in. This is where you put your phone on the pad and it chargers it without cords. We don’t have a phone capable of this charging but it makes me wish I did!

Roomy trunk. We fit three hockey bags in the trunk and that says a lot! We weren’t able to fit the sticks in the trunk due to length but just put them on the floor in the backseat.
