Everyone has their own strange fears that others think are crazy, mine is that a bee will fly into my soda (or my kids) and sting me when I drink from it. I actually do rinse off my cars (for the most part) but I don’t scrub them and then I put my mouth on them. Yuck!
Then there is the ability to snap the lid closed. While it does not offer 100% spill protection, it does contain the liquid more than it would without it.

I never drink a full can and I put it in the fridge and it goes flat. Also keep bugs out when outside.
