App Review

Top Ranking Puzzle App: Puzzingo Kids Puzzles

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Out of all the toys my kids have owned over the years, puzzles have always been one of their favorites. From chunky wooden puzzles when they were little to 100-500 piece puzzles now that they are older, something about the challenge of completing a puzzle is so rewarding. Last year we actually started a 2000 piece puzzle at my mom’s house and while it was fun to work on it over there, it wasn’t something we could work on anytime since we live an hour away.

Since we didn’t want to start another big puzzle at our house and because my kids wanted something more for on-the-go fun, we turned to an app for their tablets. The app we use is Puzzingo and my kids have actually been playing with for years now.

What makes Puzzingo Kids Puzzles such a great puzzle app?

Puzzingo Puzzles was actually inspired by Melissa & Doug, which is what my kids started out with for puzzles. I love that Puzzingo was inspired by the classic brand.

Puzzingo Puzzles helps kids develop spatial recognition, matching, tactile and fine-motor skills. Those are all great skills for kids to learn and the best part is they will be having fun not realizing they are also learning!

Unlike other kid’s apps, Puzzingo is 100% professionally illustrated and even uses professional voice actors with clear accurate pronunciation, rather than machine-generated speech.

After completing a puzzle, there are mini-games that bring the puzzles to life with sounds and animations for even more fun. It is a great reward and a motivator for kids to finish.

Puzzingo has been awarded multiple awards including Dr. Toy’s 10 Best Children’s product, Editor’s Choice, Best Apps for Kids and 5 out of 5 by Apps for Homeschooling.

The puzzles come in so many fun varieties including pirates, dinosaurs, pets, cars, fairies, space, bugs and more!

The app has been designed and tested with kids as young as 5 years old and younger as well as children with special needs.

Puzzingo Puzzles is available in English, UK English, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.

With over 8 million downloads and 1 billion puzzles played, Puzzingo Kids Puzzles is definitely doing something right. I love that the app is constantly updated with new fun and its affordable for add-ons.

Honestly, the free version of Puzzingo can keep kids busy for quite some time, it’s not just a trial version either, and when they are ready you can upgrade to the Pro version of Puzzingo for even more puzzle fun. You get 7 of the puzzles for free to start along with a daily free preview of new puzzles. My kids love all the new puzzle editions and is so excited to have new ones!
