Being a traveler in Orlando can be overwhelming as there are so many choices of where to stay and what to do. There are so many great attractions and hotels seem to be every other building to accommodate all those guests. So when I came to be in Orlando last month with my family of five, I had a hard time trying to decide where to stay. We were just going to be there for one night and we’re going to be out most of the time so I didn’t need a fancy waterpark resort but I also wanted a hotel I could trust.  One thing I found too is that many of the Orlando hotels charged a resort fee whether you were using it or not and the charge was not included in the rate.

Here are my reasons we stayed at the Embassy By Hilton Orlando Airport:

1. Your room is a suite meaning you get a front sitting area and then a bedroom in the back with a door. This was perfect for my kids to go to sleep early while my husband and I watched tv in the front room. The front room also has a sofa sleeper! The whole space is super roomy and so much better than being cramped in a small room with no walking areas.

2. This hotel is located just 1 mile from the Orlando International Airport. There is even a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service. I loved that we were close to the airport but not too close!

3. Free made-to-order omelets and breakfast buffet – yes free! This is my favorite feature of Embassy Suites hotels as it takes the guessing game out of what are we going to do for breakfast and with a buffet, there are so many choices. I also have to give a shout out to the chef who made fresh hashbrowns for my son who has multiple food allergies, my son was so happy to be able to eat their hashbrowns and not have to worry about cross-contamination from the eggs.

4. 24-hour free fitness center is perfect for getting a quick workout in.

5. Complimentary Evening Reception – yes free again – includes a light snack bar and free drink (beer, wine or premium spirit) for guests. We didn’t get to attend this but have attended at other Embassy Suites and it is such an amazing bonus!

6. The hotel is newly renovated and everything was very clean and modern throughout the hotel. My kids actually kept calling it a “fancy” hotel!

7. We stayed in an upgraded Pure Room which was something I had never heard of but something now I will always be looking for t hotels. The Pure Rooms feature a patented 7-step purification process to treat every surface, including the air, removing up to 99.99% of pollutants and allergens, so you can breathe easily and rest peacefully. My son has allergies but we usually just tough it out at hotels, I never realized we didn’t have to settle. The room was definitely different than other hotel rooms, our favorite was the air purifier. The hotel told me too that a lot of airplane pilots request those rooms for the soothing noise of the air purifier.

8. The hotel is Central to world-famous Orlando theme parks and Port Canaveral Cruise Port.

9. There are over 30 restaurants within walking distance, sure to please any taste. This is a huge plus too as I hate being stuck at a hotel with the only option being an expensive hotel restaurant or pizza delivery.

10. You can open the door with a Digital Key using an iPhone or Android device if you check in ahead of time and select your room – yes you can actually pre-check-in and select a room of your choice!

11. There is a pool perfect for unwinding at if you need a break!

12. There is a snack pantry that is full of snacks to purchase. This is another nice feature as sometimes you need a snack or personal item and there is nowhere nearby to buy those items, especially if you are without a car. The hotel associate told me they are also looking at including sandwiches.

Honestly, we had an awesome stay at the Embassy By Hilton Orlando Airport and will definitely be back. I had no issues or complaints and was impressed with everything.
