A Card Game for Real Fruckers – Oh Fruck!

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Finding a game for my tweens and even my own friends to play can be hard. Sure there are the classic games we could always play but finding something new that gets all of us playing is not an easy task.

Well Oh Fruck! is just that game. It is a card game that combines strategy with special rules that change the game every time you play. The goal is to be the first player to discard all your cards but being careful of the special rule cards which could Fruck you!

Oh Fruck! is a card game that reminds me of UNO but with rules that tweens will appreciate. The game took us a few rounds to get used to it but luckily the cards explain all the rules and what needs to get done. Really easy to play and if you need help the instructions are very visual and easy to follow.

The game is for ages 12 and up and not as crazy as Cards Against Humanity if you have played that before, so its not crazy for tweens and families to play. It has gotten my kids playing games with us again which I love!

Oh Fruck! is a game made right here in the USA by two longtime friends. The creators wanted a game not as childish as Old Maid of Go Fish but not as serious as poker, and NOT an online game! There are 108 total cards including 76 playing cards and 26 special rule cards. You get a traditional 52 card deck which you can use for regular card games as well.

One special rule is Gentlemen Jacks! Whenever someone plays a jack, they must compliment the next player – sincerely. If they’re caught not doing it, they’re “frucked,” and must draw a card. Some special rules are card-based, such as forcing players to knock on the table whenever a club is played or stand up as fast as they can when a king is discarded.

Other special rules are behavior-based, such as the Secret Society rule: players may not address other players by their true names. Anytime they do, they must draw a card! Each round of play begins with three randomly dealt Special Rule Cards, meaning the combination of special rules between games is never the same. Even more rules can pile up as you play – which means that remembering the current set of rules is half the fun!

Honestly, this is really a great game for older kids or even an adult family game night. Better than video games and it makes kids feel more grown up – my boys loved that it was almost a swear word game.

Check out Oh Fruck!

You can find Oh Fruck! on Amazon or wherever games are sold.
