Fun With How To Train Your Dragon From PLAYMOBIL

I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My kids have always loved playing with toys that are associated with their favorite characters. Something about them bringing the characters to life at home makes it that much more fun than just watching something. I love when my kids are playing with actual toys and not watching tv or playing on electronics so its a win-win for me as well. Toys are also easier to transport than some tv shows or movies.

Well just in time for the new How To Train Your Dragon movie, PLAYMOBIL has come out with their line of How To Train Your Dragon sets. These sets are seriously adorable and fun to both display and play with. I want to display them all in my office and my kids keep taking them to soar around the house with, plus some of the sets even light up and shoot darts!

I have three sets (so far) and they are seriously a great addition for anyone who loves the How to Train Your Dragon series, loves PLAYMOBIL or just loves dragons. What I love about PLAYMOBIL in general is that their sets are sturdy and built to last (like for generations) even with the roughest kids playing with them (and yes my kids have tested that feature.)

If you are only going to get one set, I’d say the must-have set is:

Hiccup and Toothless with Baby Dragon

Hiccup and Toothless lead the dragons and inhabitants of Berk on a fight
against Grimmel. With illuminating back spikes and fire-charged
markings, Toothless goes on a new adventure to explore the hidden world, and Hiccup learns to be a leader even without his dragon. Set includes Hiccup, Toothless, blue fire darts, baby dragon, flame sword, helmet, and other accessories.

Some other How to Train Your Dragon PLAYMOBIL Sets to check out are:

Light Fury with Baby Dragon & Children

Take an exciting adventure into the hidden world with the light Fury. Much like her counterpart, the night Fury, she protects herself with her pink fire darts and fire-charged scales that allow her to disappear into the sky. However, her white, sparkling scales, fast speed, and independence set her apart. Her curiosity sometimes gets the better of her, leading her and Toothless on exciting adventures. Set includes light Fury, baby Dragon, children, bucket, and other accessories.

Deathgripper with Grimmel

Take on the most vicious Dragon hunter yet, Grimes, and his Dragon, the deathgripper. On his mission to eliminate the last night Fury, grimmel draws the inhabitants out of Berk into a quest to find the hidden world. The deathgripper is known for its large sharp tusks and spikes along its spine. Watch out for the acid that comes shooting out of its mouth and its tail that poisons its enemies with Venom. Set includes grimmel, deathgripper, bow, and other accessories.
