My kids love staying in hotels but eventually, just swimming does get old. A few weeks ago we got to stay at Great Wolf Resort and we got to the point that I was begging my kids to just swim at the pool so I could relax!

Yes we were busy from the point we checked in until we left taking advantage of all Great Wolf Resort has to offer.
While Great Wolf is known for their water fun play areas, this summer they are featuring their first ever Summer Camp-In.
The Great Wolf Resort Summer Camp-In is basically a whole bunch of additional activities for families to enjoy, many free and some with a small additional cost.
The Summer Camp-in runs through Labor Day. Enjoy pool parties, barbecue buffets, and stories around the fire.
We were so bummed to miss the Duckie 500 which was decorating rubber duckies and then racing them.
There were coloring activities where my kids loved the down time to sit and color.
Origami anyone? This was another drop-in craft time we experienced.

The Trailblazer Challenge allowed kids to earn badges and rewards by participating in activities including arts and crafts and competitions.
Our Great Wolf Resort didn’t have this but some locations have a BBQ Buffet dinner you can check out.
Campfire stories with s’mores.
We missed this as well but there is a Character Breakfast at some locations where families can enjoy a buffet breakfast with Wiley and friends.
Finally there are adorable seasonal rooms that treat campers to the ultimate summer camp-in experience right in their guest room. The rooms feature tents, cozy campfire lamps, fun summer decor and more.
