10 Things to Check Out on the 2019 Jeep Cherokee

I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I have driven a lot of cars since I first start driving but I was excited to check out a Jeep which I have never driven before. I love SUVs and I am always excited to see what each brand has to offer.

Here are 10 Things to Check Out on the Jeep Cherokee:

  • It has a good size trunk. I have two kids in hockey and one in soccer and I need room to lug equipment. Hockey equipment, goalie especially, is huge and I fit my son’s bag and pads in the trunk just fine.
  • Super easy to use navigation system. I hate when navigation screens are complicated and not user-friendly.
  • Push-Button Engine Start. This is becoming standard but it goes along with keyless entry and is a convenience thing.
  • Easy ability to switch terrains – Auto, Snow, Sport, Sand/Mud. Jeep is a brand I think of as going on all sorts of surfaces and it is great that there is an easy to use button to twist to what you need it to do.
  • Touchscreen with everything you need at the touch of a button.
  • Okay so this was a new one for me – low Fuel Economy specifically under 30 miles. Usually for Range, I have seen that once it gets to around 30 miles for range it says Low Fuel and stops displaying the range. The Jeep went all the way down to 12 miles for range before I made my way to the gas station. I know some go crazy when a gas tank gets down to half way but I like to see how low I can go!
  • Roomy. I felt like the driver row and the second row had decent leg space. There is even a cool armrest cupholder that is perfect for separating two kids and giving space. There is also a giant sunroof which helps make it feel roomy as well.
  • Plenty of outlets – USB, 12V (lighter adapter) and even a regular plug. There are even ports throughout the car so passengers can use their own.
  • Sleek design. It doesn’t seem bulky and heavy but yet still sturdy and reliable.
  • So much storage. I love when cars when make use of random spots for storage. I really loved the little pop up compartment on the dashboard which held my sunglasses and few little items just fine.

Overall. the Jeep Cherokee was a great car to zip around in. It held my family of five and our essentials just fine.

  • I have a relative who loves her Jeep Cherokee, Grand. She'd like a new (newer) one, she still thinks they are great! This does look really nice, I'd like to have one, too!
