PLAYMOBIL: The Movie Del’s Food Truck

Last year my daughter discovered PLAYMOBIL and ever since has been hooked. She was thrilled to find out there was a movie coming out, actually, it just came out this past weekend. Yes those silly PLAYMOBIL characters have their own movie and it is jam-packed with all the characters.

By chance the siblings Marla and Charlie are drawn into the magical, colourful PLAYMOBIL® universe and separated. To find Charlie again, Marla must embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Fortunately she meets Del, a crazed food truck driver, who helps her to find her way in this fantastic world with its wacky rules. Together, the two of them drive through the exciting PLAYMOBIL® worlds in Del’s cool red food truck, pass difficult challenges and grow beyond themselves on their journey. Will they succeed in finding Charlie?

PLAYMOBIL: The Movie© is the first animated film inspired by the imaginative world of PLAYMOBIL® and takes the audience on an epic, funny and unforgettable adventure. Matching the cinema launch, there are nine cool game sets around the PLAYMOBIL® film.

To go along with the PLAYMOBIL movie there is a fun line of toys, including Del’s Food Truck. The set includes Del, Marla, menu board, table, burritos, magical hay, truck and other accessories.

My daughter wants to wait to play with the set until we can see the movie but I know it will be a hit because how could a food truck playset not be awesome!

You get plenty of pieces in the set – 110 pieces to be exact – which will keep kids bust putting together and then playing with. I love how much detail is included with this set with all the pieces. It is a great set to play with too whether you have seen the movie yet or not!
